TB-500
Also known as: Thymosin Beta-4
Overview
TB-500 is a synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide found in high concentrations in blood platelets and wound fluid. It promotes healing across multiple tissue types and has been used in veterinary medicine for decades. Widely researched for muscle, tendon, and ligament repair.
How it works
Promotes actin polymerisation which is essential for cell migration and tissue repair. Upregulates cell-building proteins, reduces inflammatory cytokines, stimulates angiogenesis, and promotes the differentiation of stem cells. Works systemically by travelling through the bloodstream to sites of injury.
Primary uses
- Muscle recovery
- Wound healing
- Tendon and ligament repair
- Flexibility improvement
- Cardiac tissue repair
- Anti-inflammatory
What to expect
Based on reported user experiences and available research, here is a general timeline of effects:
Days 1–14
- Actin polymerisation and cell migration begin at the injury site
- Anti-inflammatory effects are active from the first dose
- Some users notice reduced stiffness and improved flexibility early
Days 14–42
- Systemic healing effects are well established by week 3-4
- Muscle and connective tissue repair is progressing
- Flexibility and range of motion often improve noticeably
Days 42–84
- Significant wound, tendon, and muscle healing expected at this stage
- Pairs well with BPC-157 for comprehensive recovery
- Inflammation markers are typically well reduced by this point
Days 84–999
- Long-term tissue integrity is well supported
- Consider a maintenance dose protocol or rest period
- Cardiac tissue repair benefits are emerging in research at this duration
Storage and preparation
Store lyophilised powder at -20°C. Once reconstituted, refrigerate at 4°C and use within 30 days. Keep away from light.
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. Common: 5mg vial with 2ml BAC water gives 2500mcg/ml. For 2mg dose, draw 0.8ml.
