Kisspeptin-10

Hormonal / FertilityGrey areaHalf-life: 0.5h

Overview

Kisspeptin-10 is a naturally occurring neuropeptide produced in the hypothalamus that plays a critical role in the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. It is the most potent known stimulator of GnRH release and is being investigated for fertility treatments and hypogonadism.

How it works

Binds to GPR54 receptors (KISS1R) on GnRH neurons in the hypothalamus, triggering pulsatile GnRH release. This stimulates LH and FSH secretion from the pituitary, which in turn drives testosterone production in men and oestrogen and ovulation in women. May also have direct effects on sexual arousal and behaviour.

Primary uses

  • Testosterone stimulation
  • LH pulse stimulation
  • GnRH release
  • Fertility support
  • Hypogonadism management
  • Sexual function

What to expect

Based on reported user experiences and available research, here is a general timeline of effects:

  1. Days 1–7

    • GnRH release begins stimulating LH and FSH from the first dose
    • Testosterone production stimulation is active immediately
    • Some users report increased libido within the first week
  2. Days 7–28

    • LH pulse frequency is increasing — testosterone production is building
    • Sexual function and libido improvements are commonly reported by week 2
    • Fertility support effects are becoming established
  3. Days 28–999

    • Hormonal axis support is well established with consistent use
    • Consider blood work to confirm testosterone and LH levels
    • Long-term use data is limited — monitor and cycle appropriately

Storage and preparation

Store lyophilised at -20°C. Once reconstituted, store at 4°C and use within 14 days. Protect from light.

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water or sterile saline. Common: 5mg vial with 2.5ml BAC water gives 2000mcg/ml. For 200mcg dose, draw 0.1ml.
