GHRP-2

Also known as: Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2, Pralmorelin

Growth HormoneGrey areaHalf-life: 0.5h

Overview

GHRP-2 is a synthetic growth hormone releasing peptide and ghrelin receptor agonist. It is commonly used in endocrine research and has been used diagnostically in some countries to assess growth hormone secretory capacity.

How it works

Activates GHS-R1a receptors in the pituitary and hypothalamus, promoting pulsatile growth hormone release. It may also increase hunger signalling and can influence prolactin and cortisol more than highly selective alternatives such as ipamorelin.

Primary uses

  • Growth hormone stimulation
  • GH diagnostic research
  • IGF-1 signalling
  • Appetite signalling research
  • Recovery research

Storage and preparation
