FOXO4-DRI
Also known as: FOXO4 D-Retro-Inverso
Overview
FOXO4-DRI is a cell-penetrating peptide studied for senolytic activity in preclinical ageing research. It is designed to interfere with FOXO4-p53 interaction in senescent cells. Human safety and efficacy are not established.
How it works
Designed to disrupt the interaction between FOXO4 and p53 in senescent cells, promoting p53-mediated apoptosis of those cells in preclinical models. This may reduce senescent cell burden and senescence-associated secretory phenotype signalling.
Primary uses
- Senolytic research
- Cellular ageing research
- Senescence research
- Longevity pathway research
Storage and preparation
Store lyophilised material at -20°C or below, protected from light and moisture. Reconstituted material should be refrigerated and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitute according to supplier guidance, commonly with sterile water, bacteriostatic water, or DMSO-compatible research protocols depending on formulation. Handle gently and avoid contamination.
