ARA-290
Also known as: Cibinetide
Overview
ARA-290, also known as cibinetide, is an erythropoietin-derived peptide investigated for tissue-protective, anti-inflammatory, and neuropathy-related effects without the erythropoietic activity of full EPO.
How it works
Designed to activate the innate repair receptor complex rather than the classical erythropoietin receptor involved in red blood cell production. Proposed effects include reduced inflammation, tissue protection, improved small-fibre neuropathy markers, and modulation of macrophage activity.
Primary uses
- Neuropathy research
- Anti-inflammatory research
- Tissue protection
- Small fibre neuropathy research
- Innate repair signalling
Storage and preparation
Store lyophilised material frozen or refrigerated according to supplier guidance. Protect from light and moisture. Reconstituted solution should be refrigerated and handled using sterile technique.
Reconstitute with sterile water or bacteriostatic water according to supplier instructions. Add diluent slowly and gently swirl until dissolved.
